螺旋鋼管的常用標準一般分為:SY/T5037-2008（部標、也叫 普通流體輸送管道用螺旋縫埋弧焊鋼管）、GB/T9711.1-2008（國標、也叫石油天然氣工業(yè)輸送鋼管交貨技術條件部分：A級鋼管(要求嚴格的有GB/T9711.2 B級鋼管)）、API-5L（美國石油協(xié)會、也叫管線鋼管；其中分為PSL1和PSL2兩個級別）、SY/T5040-2008（樁用螺旋焊縫鋼管）。

直縫鋼管執(zhí)行的標準GB/T3091-2008低壓流體鋼管生產(chǎn)標準，GB/T9711.1-2 -1997石油天然氣鋼管生產(chǎn)使用標準，還可以執(zhí)行美國API 5L 管線鋼管執(zhí)行標準。生產(chǎn)材質(zhì)：Q195A-Q345E；245R；Q345QA-D；L245-L485；X42-X70。承壓參數(shù)主要有2ST/T ，S為屈服強度，T為壁厚。埋弧焊已經(jīng)發(fā)展成為，有雙絲埋弧焊，還有多絲埋弧焊，效率更進一步提高。

無縫鋼管是用10、20、30、35、45等優(yōu)質(zhì)碳結(jié)鋼16Mn、5MnV等低合金結(jié)構鋼或40Cr、30CrMnSi、45Mn2、40MnB等合結(jié)鋼熱軋或冷軋制成的。10、20等低碳鋼制造的無縫管主要用于流體輸送管道。45、40Cr等中碳鋼制成的無縫管用來制造機械零件，如汽車、拖拉機的受力零件。一般用無縫鋼管要保證強度和壓扁試驗。熱軋鋼管以熱軋狀態(tài)或熱處理狀態(tài)交貨；冷軋以熱處理狀態(tài)交貨。
